We are happy to share that today, Cheshire Home India – Chennai launched a new initiative at our premises — a Therapy Center for Special Children. This milestone marks a major step forward in our mission to support children with special needs through holistic and multidisciplinary therapeutic services.

Dr. Somasundaram delivered an insightful address to the parents, emphasizing the importance of early intervention in addressing developmental issues. He elaborated on different types of developmental challenges such as speech delays, educational difficulties, social and communication issues, and how therapists assess and manage these conditions today. His talk was deeply informative and encouraging for all the parents present.
After the formal session, an interactive session was held where parents had the opportunity to consult the doctors and clear their doubts.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the valuable time and contributions of all our esteemed guests. A special thanks to Mrs. Maureen Hudson Murari, Hon. Secretary of Cheshire Home, for her continued presence, guidance, and support.
Starting today, therapy assessment sessions will begin for our children. The center will operate Monday to Friday, offering therapy services including speech, physiotherapy, occupational, psychological support, and special education.
