A series of events networking with other NGOs in the field of disability were held throughout the year including exhibition/sale of designer products made by the persons with disability; awareness seminar on opportunities for the disabled and also a program on awareness and prevention of AIDS.

 

With over 50 years experience in the care of the disabled and the impoverished members of our community, and over 10 years in community based outreach programs facilitated by both local and international organizations, the Chennai Cheshire Home continues its unbroken tradition of breaking down the social, physical and cultural barriers that prevent full inclusion of the less fortunate members of our community.
